I am considered as the one of the biggest diamond. I was discovered from the Premier mine in the year 1905 weighing around 3106 ever known to men in its rough state. Now I live in the Tower of London. Who am I?

• Cullian, name after Sir Thomas Cullian. I was cut into 11 pieces and the two largest pieces was presented to King Edward VII. The largest was 530 carats and is set in the royal sceptre. Whereas the Cullian II is set in the Imperial State Crown.

Slightly Red in color with a tinge of brown was spotted by worker in the year 1967 in the mine of Fee, State province of South Africa. Who am I?

• Earth Star is reddish brownish Diamond weighed around 248 Cts when brought to New York. After it was polished and cut it weigh around 111 Cts and was bought by Messrs Baumgold of New York.




Discovered in the year 1893 at the Jagersfontein Mine of South Africa I weighed around 995 carats. I was cut into 10 pieces and my weigh ranges from 69 to 9 carats. Who am I?


• Excelsior was found in the same area where the first diamond was discovered. It was bluish and white in color with spots of black on it.  It could not survive as a single stone since 63% of its weight was cut off due to the tiny spots. It was cut to 10 to 9 pieces weighing from 69 to 9 carats.



Brought to New York in the year 1952 in a paper bag was mined out of Premier Mine outside Pretoria. I was cut and polished to 128 carats pear shaped gem.


• Niarchos also known as “Ice Queen” is a 128 Cts of pear shaped gem. It was a flawless diamond weighing around 426 Cts in the uncut staged. The cutter took around 1400 hours in grinding, polishing and giving the perfect pear shape. It got the name after shipping magnate Stavros Niarchos



I am canary yellowish in color saw the first light in the mind of De Beers in South Africa. I was sold at an auction on behalf of the British Red Cross. Who am I?

• Red Cross, it was presented as a gift to the British Red Cross on the order of St. John. This Diamond had a visible Maltese Cross in its top face.
